The highlight of the celebration was a captivating keynote address by Ms. Aisha Nurain Janah, a renowned leader and entrepreneur. Ms. Janah, the Founder of Kand奴f膩 Foundation and the Inaugural Chair of the Institute of Directors Maldives, among other significant roles, shared her extensive experience in driving transformation across corporate governance, construction, ESG strategy, and philanthropy. Her insights on breaking barriers and fostering women's leadership resonated deeply with the audience.
Following the keynote, a dynamic panel discussion titled "Opportunities and Roadblocks Faced by Women" took center stage. Moderated by Aishath Mish'a, Manager, Policy and International Relations at 吃瓜网, the panel featured a diverse group of accomplished individuals. The panelists included Dr. Aishath Nasheeda, Head of School and Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology and Counselling; Dr. Fazeela Ibrahim, Dean and Adjunct-Assistant Professor of FES at the Institute for Research and Innovation; Udhuma Abdul Latheef, Head of School for both the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the School of Computer Science; Prof. Ma Yuehan, Director of the Chinese Language Centre; and Ahmed Thynum, Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Counselling.
