1 min read

³Ô¹ÏÍø recently hosted a successful career guidance information session for its Foundation students, in a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development. This initiative underscores ³Ô¹ÏÍø's strong commitment to fostering student success and contributing to the development of a skilled workforce in the Maldives. The session aimed to equip Foundation students with the crucial knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

The informative session covered a range of key topics designed to empower students as they plan their next steps. These included a dedicated segment on career guidance, assisting students in exploring potential career paths aligned with their interests and skills. Students also learned about the Sustainable Integrated Labor Services (SAILS) Project, gaining insights into its objectives and potential benefits. The session also highlighted upcoming training opportunities, keeping students aware about building further skills. Information was provided on the National Careers Service portal, a valuable resource for career exploration and planning. Finally, students received details about the Ministry's first-degree scheme and available loan options, making higher education more accessible.

The collaborative nature of this event, bringing together ³Ô¹ÏÍø and the Ministry, highlights a shared dedication to supporting student success. ³Ô¹ÏÍø remains deeply committed to providing ongoing career support to all its students. We strongly encourage all Foundation students to actively utilize the resources presented during the session and to take a proactive approach in planning their future career paths. The knowledge gained will be invaluable as they transition from Foundation studies to their chosen fields.
