³Ô¹ÏÍø Launches Llm (Commercial Law) Programme

³Ô¹ÏÍø launched LLM (Commercial Law) of the University of the West of England on 04th November 2020, Wednesday. The programme was launched in a special ceremony held in ³Ô¹ÏÍø, by the Chief Justice of Maldives, Hon. Uz. Muthasim Adnan. In his remarks, Chief Justice highlighted the importance of such programmes to the country, which produces skillful and talented graduates in the field of law. Moreover, with the possibility of specializing in Commercial Law, he stated that it is a wonderful opportunity for Maldivian students to complete their Masters here in the Maldives. In this ceremony, the Rector of ³Ô¹ÏÍø, Dr. Ahmed Anwar addressed the attendees and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for all staff involved in the launching of LLM (Commercial Law). He stated further that, it is one of the main goals of ³Ô¹ÏÍø, to produce graduates who are fully capable in their respective fields, where LLM is no exception. Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Uza. Shabab Rasheed stated in her remarks, that having the possibility of completing a UWE Masters programme within the country, in the field of law is an exceptional opportunity for interested students. Moreover, the availability of UWE and VC online resources will enable students to explore further into the subject area and enhance their careers through this programmes. With the introduction of LLM (Commercial Law), ³Ô¹ÏÍø offers a total of 102 programmes in January 2021 Intake, for which the application deadline is 19th December 2020.
