We are excited to open our very first gymnasium, VFIT Fitness Centre for our staff and students and students of ³Ô¹ÏÍø and Villa International Highschool.
The inauguration ceremony welcomed Mr. Mohamed Tholal, the Maldives Commissioner of Sports, who officially opened the gym. In his remarks he mentioned the struggle everyone face in todays world to prioritize fitness due to lack of time, and how it is a huge blessing for students and staff to have a fitness centre within the campus.
The gym boasts extended operating hours, ensuring accessibility and convenience for staff and students. It will be open from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Saturday through Thursday. On Fridays, it will operate from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with an additional session from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, catering to prayer times.
The introduction of this gymnasium reflects ³Ô¹ÏÍø's ongoing dedication to fostering a healthy lifestyle and holistic development among its students and staff. The facility provides a space for individuals to engage in their fitness routines and prioritize their well-being.
This new addition marks a significant step towards ³Ô¹ÏÍø's commitment to creating a vibrant and enriching educational environment that prioritizes both academic excellence and physical health.
