The orientation week at ³Ô¹ÏÍø has officially begun, marking the start of the September 2024 intake. Running from September 9 to September 12, 2024, this week is designed to introduce new students to various educational topics, familiarise them with the college's facilities, and explain essential procedures and resources available on campus.
The session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Dr. Ahmed Anwar, the rector of ³Ô¹ÏÍø, warmly welcomed the new students who have joined for this September intake. During the orientation, the rector encouraged students to commit to their studies and emphasised the importance of ethics in learning.
The first part of today’s orientation concluded with a speech by ³Ô¹ÏÍø alumni Fathimath Rizna, a distinguished college medal winner in Bachelor of Shariah and Law, class of 2023. Rizna, who recently completed her Master's in Shariah and Law in May 2024, is set to receive this year's Qasim Ibrahim Excellence Award. In her address, she highlighted the significance of utilizing the resources available at ³Ô¹ÏÍø and shared how the institution supported her academic journey.
Following the formal session, students participated in fun activities, providing a great opportunity to interact with one another and explore the college's resources.
In total, 77 programs are scheduled for the September 2024 intake, promising an exciting academic year ahead.
