This session was organised in collaboration with Maldives Monetary Authority ( MMA training institute and the Faculty of Business Management of ³Ô¹ÏÍø) for 19th March 2023 14:00 to 15:30 in MMA auditorium. FBM Staff and students joined the session along with MMA senior management. The main objective of the session was to provide our students a study experience beyond class room and connect with the industry. MMA being a key institution regulating the economy this session was insightful and valuable for students studying economics, finance and related.
This session was about, "Macroeconomy in a Local Context" and the themes included, about MMA and their role, monetary policies in local context and Macroeconomic Policy Response: in relation to Covid19 from Maldives.
The session was conducted by Shifneen Rasheed, Research Analyst, Economic Research Section, Research Division of MMA and Mohamed Imthinan Saudulla, Senior Research Analyst, Economic Research Section, Research Division.
After the session, the Governor of MMA, Ali Hashim, actively participated in the Q&A session.
